competition to provide 30 of these dedicated volunteers with special behind-the-scenes pits and paddock tours on Thursday afternoon, the eve of track action commencing.

The prize draw is open to all volunteers assisting at Silverstone - those wishing to enter should email their contact details together with proof of their role at Silverstone to info@GoMotorsport.net by mid-day on Monday 15 June. The 30 lucky winners will be contacted on Tuesday.

Go Motorsport has been set up by the Motor Sports Association (MSA), the governing body of motor sport in the UK, to help guide people into all areas of motor sport, be it as a competitor, spectator or volunteer. The campaign was launched last year with F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton at the McLaren Technology Centre and has attracted strong support from many of the most famous names including Jenson Button, the current FIA Formula 1 World Championship pacesetter. Button along with David Coulthard, former Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill OBE, Sir Frank Williams, Murray Walker plus a host of other high-profile personalities have all become official Go Motorsport Ambassadors.

"We are delighted that RBS has given us this chance to reward some of those volunteers working at Silverstone with a very special insight into Formula One. Part of Go Motorsport's mandate is to encourage more people to get closer to the sport by volunteering - they fill many roles that are vital to the organisation and running of events whether that's the British Grand Prix or a local club event. This prize draw will not only go some way to acknowledging the hard work of those already volunteering but also help to persuade others to get involved. It's no exaggeration to say that without the support of these volunteers much of our sport wouldn't exist," states Colin Hilton, Motor Sports Association Chief Executive.

"This is a great opportunity for marshals to get a taste of the excitement of the Grand Prix. We have hundreds of volunteers at the event, all giving their time for free, and this is just recognition for some of their sterling efforts," confirms David Pierre, Chairman of the MSA's Volunteer Officials Advisory Panel.
